INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION: TRANSFORMATIONS

La Facultad de BBAA organiza BAG 2nd, Festival Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo en colaboración con el Vicerrectorado de Internacionalización de la UGR. BAG 2nd promueve y difunde investigaciones artísticas realizadas por estudiantes y profesorado vinculado a nuestra Facultad bajo distintos programas de movilidad nacional e internacional desarrollados durante el curso 2018-19.
En esta segunda edición, la sala principal de exposiciones de nuestra Facultad acoge la exposición “Transformations” (“Transformaciones”) dentro del programa internacional interuniversitario Academy Art Gallery Interchange. La muestra podrá visitarse durante los días 16 al 24 de mayo de 2019 en horario 10-14h y 17-20h.
El programa Academy Art Gallery Interchange tiene como objetivo la generación de una red de espacios expositivos y propuestas artísticas entre socios dentro de programas de movilidad a nivel europeo y extracomunitario. Para ello ofrece al artista visitante la posibilidad de exponer un proyecto en la Sala de Exposiciones de la Facultad de Bellas Artes de Granada. Se solicita, a cambio, la posibilidad de que artistas/ profesores o jóvenes investigadores de la Facultad de Bellas Artes de Granada expongan su proyecto artístico en galerías o salas de exposiciones de la universidad del artista que ha sido invitado a exponer en Granada, generando un programa anual de exposiciones conjuntas. Este año la muestra ofrecida por este programa nos trae distintas propuestas que examinan el concepto de transformación desde un punto de vista experimental, explorando sus repercusiones en los ámbitos social, político y cultural. Los artistas participantes son Tomasz Kalitko, Marcin Lorenc, Joanna Marcinkowska, Marek Przybył provenientes de la University of the Arts de Poznan, Polonia, y Ondřej Navrátil procedente de la Masaryk University de Brno, República Checa.
The Faculty of BBAA organizes the BAG2nd, the International Festival of Contemporary Art in collaboration with the Vice-rectorate for Internationalization of the UGR.
BAG2nd promotes and disseminates the artistic research carried out by students and teachers linked to our Faculty under different national and international mobility programs developed during the 2018-19 academic year.
In this second edition, the main exhibition hall of our Faculty hosts the exhibition “Transformations” within the international inter-university program Academy Art Gallery Interchange. It can be visited during the days 16th to May 24th, 2019, from10 to 14h and 17 to 20h.
The Academy Art Gallery Interchange program aims to generate a network of exhibition spaces and artistic proposals between partners within mobility programs at European and extra-community level. For this, it offers the visiting artist the possibility of exhibiting a project in the Exhibition Hall of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Granada. It is requested, in exchange, the possibility for the artists/professors or young researchers from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Granada to expose their artistic project in galleries or exhibition halls of the artist’s university that has been invited to exhibit in Granada, generating an annual program of joint exhibitions.
This year the exhibition offered by this program brings us different proposals that examine the concept of transformation from an experimental point of view, exploring its repercussions in the social, political and cultural spheres. The participating artists are Tomasz Kalitko, Marcin Lorenc, Joanna Marcinkowska, Marek Przybył from the University of the Arts in Poznan, Poland, and Ondřej Navrátil from the Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic.
